FAQs
This policy covers loss or damage to all contract works, existing structures if required and the increased Costs of Delay in completing the project following an insured damage event. The policy is issued on an ‘All Risks’ basis including Fire, Explosion, Storm and other major perils, such as Theft, Accidental/Malicious Damage and Subsidence.
Cover can apply whilst on site, in transit and when temporarily stored at suppliers’ premises, including those overseas if necessary.
The cover will be continuous during Construction, Testing, Commissioning and extending to cover responsibilities under any defects maintenance period as required under any of the construction contracts.
This cover can be arranged on an annual basis i.e. for a contractor or on a project specific basis.
