It has been one year since the Griffiths & Armour Team in Manchester moved into new offices at Chancery Place, 50 Brown Street.
Occupying the 14th Floor, the office provides great views of the city and the team have settled in well, using the modern office to work collaboratively. We have also enjoyed welcoming clients and insurers to the new space with the Boardroom being used regularly to host internal forums and client/insurer meetings. The office is located within close proximity to the major insurance markets, allowing us straightforward face-to-face access to key underwriters to facilitate the handling of our client’s insurance programmes.
Due to our continued growth, the Manchester team have recently been joined by two new recruits; Matthew Jackson who has joined via our graduate scheme as Trainee Insurance Broker and Cliff Jones joining as Client Services Executive.
Cliff Jones comments:
“I’m thoroughly enjoying my time at G&A; everyone has made me feel very welcome from the first day and the first few weeks have flown by. I’ve been really impressed with how the various departments of the business work together to ensure the best outcomes for the client. I’m looking forward to fully integrating myself into the team and contributing to the goals of the business.”
With the growing team, new opportunities have been created and Diane O’Grady has broadened her role in Manchester to recognise her increased operational activities. Diane has been promoted to Corporate Broker and Operations Manager – Manchester.
Head of Office Nick Fitzgerald comments:
“The past 12 months have flown by and it’s great to work in such a central location with the team coming in regularly and enjoying the chance to collaborate in person, as well as socialise together. The balance of new starters and a settled team creates a great platform for us to continue growing and the support we have had from the firm has been excellent. We look forward to celebrating 90 years of G&A this year and continuing our well-established presence in Manchester.”
