90 years of excellence…and counting!

1 October 2024

90 years is quite the milestone. Griffiths & Armour has clocked up over 4,692 weeks in insurance broking and risk management, that’s 32,850 days – or a mind boggling 788,400 hours.

An impressive anniversary is a reason to celebrate, reflect upon the many achievements throughout the years and to thank team Griffiths & Armour – past and present – who have contributed to nine decades of excellence.

On the 1 October 1934, Kenneth Griffiths and George Armour founded what has become a proud and enduring Liverpool-headquartered business – always client focused and upholding the very highest professional standards. After leaving the Royal Insurance Company, Griffiths and Armour started their journey dealing with mostly non-marine broking; a gap they had spotted in the market. Focused on providing commercial and industrial brokerage, Professional Indemnity insurance would become more prominent in future years, as claims increased in the early 1960’s.

Griffiths & Armour has a wealth of culture and history, and with our sights set on a bright future. Our dedication to clients has been a cornerstone of our success, shaping our culture, and that’s something which will never change.

From raising money for our chosen charity for 2024, the NSPCC, to celebrating in style at our Summer Social, it’s been a fantastic year and the team at Griffiths & Armour can’t wait to see what the future holds.

We’d like to say thank you to our clients for being part of our journey – and look forward to working with you over the years to come.
