Carl Evans appointed to BIBA Board
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has announced changes to its main Board and we are delighted to confirm that Carl Evans, Group Chief Executive of Griffiths & Armour Professional Risks has been appointed as a new member of that Board. Carl will also represent the interests of larger brokers in the position of Chair of the Larger Brokers’ Advisory Board at BIBA, effective from 5th May 2020.
Having spent his insurance career at Griffiths & Armour, Carl is a passionate client advocate with an in-depth understanding of risk across the professions. This includes being at the forefront of pioneering and innovative insurance programme design including the first approved PI scheme for Approved Inspectors and Griffiths & Armour’s BIBA accredited PI scheme for insurance brokers. Carl brings this experience, together with previous advisory roles at BIBA on issues including: Covid – 19; the crisis with Cladding; and Fire Engineering, to this role as the insurance sector navigates through the significant future challenges ahead.
