Meet the Griffiths & Armour Professional Risks Client Services Board

As we head into 2024, we’re approaching the second year into the establishment of the Client Services Board, a forum which has helped to harness the collective experience of key individuals from across our Professional Risks Division.

The function of the Board is to support and complement our existing structures with a singular focus on maintaining and developing our client service proposition. That brief encompasses all aspects of client service and the formation of the Board in July 2022 saw the appointment of six new Client Service Directors, each having a wealth of experience in their particular area of expertise and a record of excellence in client service.

The Chair of the Client Services Board, Graeme Tinney, commented:

‘I’m delighted to be working with this group of very talented and dedicated individuals who are helping to shape our service proposition. They each bring different skills and experience to the table but are all equally committed to ensuring that our clients’ interests remain at the heart of everything we do’.

At a time of significant change within our clients’ world and the insurance market, we feel it is important that our service proposition continues to evolve in a way that aligns with and supports our clients’ needs. The Board are committed to ensuring that this is the case and is already helping to deliver in key areas such as knowledge development, ESG, digital transformation, contractual risk management and coordinated support for our professional body relationships.

In terms of our day-to-day support for clients, the development of Guiding Principles on client service is a tangible example of the great work that’s being done by the Board, the good behaviours we want to encourage within our teams and the values that underpin the firm we are today.

In this series of articles, each of the Directors provides further insight into their experiences in their particular area of responsibility and current initiatives they are involved with. We also continue to work closely with clients to understand what more we can be doing to support their current and future needs.
