Griffiths & Armour secures a place on Government Procurement Service (GPS) and Pro5 Insurance Services Framework.
We are one of eleven insurance brokers who have been awarded a place on Lot 2 (Multi Supplier Insurance brokerage) of the innovative Framework which provides a lean procurement route to the insurance market for over 14,500 organisations in central government, health, local government, housing associations, education, emergency services, defence and the not-for-profit sector.
GPS is part of the Efficiency and Reform Group in the Cabinet Office, connecting policy with delivery. GPS’s overall priority is to provide procurement savings for the UK public sector, allowing the sector to concentrate on core activities.
Pro5 represents the largest professional buying organisations in the UK. With a combined purchasing power in excess of £2 billion per annum, the organisations work together to reduce duplication of effort and drive procurement savings for the whole of the public sector.
Both organisations play a vital role in helping to protect front line services by delivering savings through aggregated end to end procurement solutions and managed service. This is great news for Griffiths & Armour, who have over 20 years experience in providing public sector bodies, in particular NHS trusts, local authorities, passenger transport executives, and education sector clients, with bespoke insurance and risk management programmes.
The Insurance Services Framework (ref RM958) is a new area for GPS and Pro5 and Griffiths & Armour will be providing insurance brokerage solutions including, but not limited to: Property and Business Interruption, Liability, Professional Indemnity, Construction, Personal Accident and Travel, Motor, Engineering, Marine, Aviation, D&O/Trustee Indemnity, Legal Expenses and other covers such as Event Cancellation.
