Griffiths & Armour is pleased to announce that Tanya Winstanley has been appointed Managing Director of our Professional Risks Division.
Tanya joined Griffiths & Armour in 2003 and has developed a wealth of experience in professional risks working with our primarily large, complex and/or international clients. As an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Liverpool, Tanya became a Partner in 2022, assumed the role of Executive Director in January 2025 and Managing Director of Professional Risks on 1 July 2025.
Client management and development responsibilities have seen Tanya involved in many collaborative initiatives on behalf of our clients. Among her recent projects has been the management of our Registered Building Control Approver portfolio and leading on the evolution of our unique divisional technology offering.
At home, Tanya has three daughters who have played a key role for the past 16 years in helping her learn how to manage varying responsibilities and giving her the opportunity to continually practice her negotiation skills!
