£11,343 Raised for NSPCC at Liverpool Sportswomans Lunch
We are delighted to announce the total funds raised at the recent Liverpool Sportswomans Lunch is an amazing £11,343.
The event, which was held at Liverpool FC’s Anfield Stadium in September, was organised as a celebration of the many sporting and non sporting achievements of women over the year, with all funds raised being donated to the NSPCC.
The NSPCC are also one of our chosen charity partners so we were very pleased to be given the opportunity to support the event with many of our colleagues attending and also as headline sponsor of the event.
The event was attended by over 300 guests, all enjoying a terrific afternoon of fundraising, music and entertainment which included listening to Olympic champion, Elinor Barker MBE answer questions about her Olympic success and how to inspire the next generation to pursue a career in sport.
Simon Keenan, Partner at Griffiths & Armour, joined the Liverpool Sportswomans Lunch team and NSPCC outside their Hargreaves Centre venue in Liverpool to present the all important fundraising cheque. Congratulations to all who made the event happen for organising a brilliant afternoon.
